Liver Cake Recipe
How to make a great treat for your furry friend!
Such a yummy treat for your pooch, and this recipe was inspired by one of my fabulous Facebook followers, so massive thanks for the idea Andy Bampton. Barkley is besotted with it!
Ingredients
500g liver (I used chicken)
500g self raising flour
3 eggs
Water
Method
Crack the eggs into a measuring jug
Add an equal volume of water to the measuring jug and whisk
Blend the liver in a food processor
Add the egg mixture and flour. Blend to a sponge mixture consistency
Empty contents into a greased baking tray. Bake at 180 degrees (or 350F) for 35 – 45 minutes
Allow to cool then divide into small pieces
Give them sparingly as a treat to your furry friend who will then know that you are the best human in the world (if he didn’t already!)
PS. These can be frozen for up to 3 months.
